This glossary

IMRG has created this glossary of common e-commerce and logistics terms and definitions as part of its Internet Delivery Is Safe (IDIS) initiative, and Fulfilment Guide has indexed it and converted it into interactive form for you. We are pleased to make it available online on IMRGs behalf.

Its purpose is to provide a consolidated point of reference for terms you may come across in logistics or e-commerce.

The definitions have been drawn from sources across the globe, including various industry sectors and regulatory bodies.

Some definitions have been added or updated to reflect the realities or experiences of e-commerce communities more closely.
